Married and 5 weeks pregnant

I decided I wanted to start a blog about me, my marriage, my son, my pregnancy and just our lives in general. Its something i wish i had started with my first born, but better late than never ! so here it goes!!

On February 25, 2007 I was blessed with an amazing little boy named maddix. He weighed in at 3lbs 14oz. He is now 3 years old and such a character. every day we have with him is just amazing.

On May 02 , 2009 my husband and I got married in my parents backyard. It was beautiful and amazing and we had the most delicious homemade mexican food. it was the most perfect day.

On march 7, 2010 we found out we were pregnant. This would be our second. the excitement came flooding in when i saw that faint little line on the home pregnancy test !

On saturday March 12 i started spotting. Now my nerves are rattled and im constatly worried. With my first child, my little boy, i had no complications .. untill the end when i was diagnosed with a couple differant scarry conditions, one of which was pre eclampsia. it resulted in a C-section which is what Im blaming for my heavy spotting with this pregnancy. We got our first picture of our lil baby " sac " as the doctor called it. still no baby just a sac. I have a follow up in 2 weeks which im looking forward to since there should be a human there.

Its not a lie when they say every pregnancy is differant. I used to make fun of the over emotional over dramatic cry baby women who would freak out about everything. Karma got me . Now Im one of those crazy cry baby pregnant women. HAH dont talk crap it really is uncontrollable. With my first I lost about 13 lbs in the first couple months, with this one Ive already gained 7 lbs. Im blaming that on all of the pancakes I crave! I have only tossed my cookies a couple times as opposed to everytime I eat, which is QUITE a relief. Im very anxious to see how this pregnancy goes. Im sure itll be quite an adventure.

Speaking of adventures, as you have probably noticed, the title of this blog is the BIG adventures of a small town family. I chose this title because we live in such a small town that doing ANYTHING is a adventure. Its two hours to anything decent ( including my doctor) and something interesting always seems to happen to us. In addition to our little road trips our friends and family make life a daily adventure. From Tia Mina to Uncle Robby The Sheath theres always a good laugh and a good time.

so thats a quick lil breif of what you have to look forward to. Hope i can provide you with some laughs and other emotions over time :)
